  1. I know I haven't been around much lately, but I never seem to catch the moment when people are in chat anymore. So my question is, when are you guys most likely to be around? It's been too long.

  2. Just an FYI, people... after I win the lottery toonight I'll be immediately going into film funding/producing mode. Just thought I'd get that out there.

  3. Congratulations to all of you who made The Hit List!!!

  4. Trying to win a bet with my sister, Top 5 Xmas movies - Go!

  6. A sequel to "It's a Wonderful Life"? Is nothing sacred?

  7. I'm sure everyone's seen it by now, but um, did you see this judging panel - http://bit.ly/1bXNvcp

  8. Gang, mind the CryptoLocker virus what with all of the file exchanges you're probably doing. It's nasty. Additional geeky details: http://windowssecrets.com/top-story/cryptolocker-a-particularly-pernicious-virus/

  9. Question: I'm looking for screenplays in the vein of Roman Polanski's Repulsion: relatively contained, psychological horror/thrillers with small casts. Also any movies you can suggest similar to Repulsion? Psycho and Black Swan came to mind though they aren't exactly like Repulsion they do exist in a similar plane (main character struggling to maintain their sense of sanity/losing their sanity, etc. Thanks!

  10. Anyone read anything funny lately?

  11. Did anyone else see Salinger?

  12. I enjoyed Captain Phillip even though I knew the ending already.

  13. Struggling through first few episodes of Dexter season 7 -- any reason to keep watching? Totally disappointed thus far.

  15. As someone who regularly questions his sanity and abilities in this uncertain and often agonizing endeavor, I'd like to extend a big, blanket loving thanks to all you TBers who have shared your work here. With so many stories around us, just sheer numbers, it's easy to forget that every screenplay is in some ways evidence of a battle. Proof its author tangled with the abyss, and emerged to write another day. Presenting it to the world then takes a whole other kind of courage.

  16. Just posted my 2013 Nicholl Semi-Finalist script. Big thanks to TB Coverage. Your notes proved most helpful!

  17. Great ending. Much better than "cut to black..."

  18. Oh Todd, you're such a gentleman

  19. I don't think a episode of television has ever made me feel this emotionally numb.

At one point he was on the verge of being Ton Arnold, but he divorced Rosanne and thus escaped that fate ...

Clearly the machine gun is for Todd and his uncles crew, Walt is going to settle the score with them for Hank and the money, save Jesse, and then use the ricin to finish things on his own terms instead of letting the cancer finish him.

  21. While I understand the frustration that must come with getting constantly criticized by such an established fanbase, Orci saying "As I love to say, there is a reason why I get to write the movies, and you don’t." comes off a bit douchey doesn't it? http://www.cinemablend.com/new/Star-Trek-Darkness-Writer-Bob-Orci-Kindly-Tells-Fans-F-k-Off-39385.html

  22. Wow...Dexter has really fallen from grace. The past couple of seasons haven't been great, but this season is just awful. Where the hell did the writers of the first two seasons go?

  23. Breaking Bad. The "wow" just keeps on coming.
