Chrome Users: If PDF files are opening in a new tab instead of Acrobat, type "Chrome:Plugins" into browser and disable Chrome PDF Viewer. Just started happening to me and was uber annoying.

In case anyone should ever lose a script they are working on due to not backing up or the file getting corrupted, there's a gem of a software called Recuva that can help you recover it. Came in handy for me today. Had struggled for 8 hours trying to recover the script until I stumbled on Recuva. So relieved. I was damn near tears, what with the lack of proper support from the good folks at Final Draft.

You know who needs more work? John Barrowman. Very entertaining. Need more Torchwood in my life.

Speaking of walking out, I've been trying to read the books ahead of the scripts concerning certain adaptations. So I'm halfway through Ender's Game (book), and I'm surprised to say I don't think I can finish.

Researching how the neocortex works... YouTube is a lifesaver. Books are hard to grasp without additional lectures.

Does any one have any "scripts" of videogames? I guess it's in some sort of form of "rights and lefts", as in the choices a player makes along the way? My son is interested in media arts / game development and I'm trying to turn him on to the STORY side of the "art form." (cough cough...)

Question. Had the original iPad for four years. Going to be upgrading. Seems like the iPad mini is more portable and still great for reading. Thoughts?

I think Skynet would've been more successful if they had cloned a hot chick, gave her AIDS, and then sent her back in time to sleep with John Conner. =)

Just as I suspected: "...an excuse for ostensibly grown men to drink their own urine, kick around a guy’s severed head and have long, drawn-out arguments about their autoerotic habits in “This Is the End.”" from Variety's review. Pass.

Why has the new Star Trek not beat the first one's opening weekend, even with 3D and Imax premiums and an 87% critics rating? It had the best trailer of the year. (No spoilers!)
