Really enjoyed MUD. Jeff Nicholas has some serious ability, simple story with good writing, good direction, beautiful photography. Would recommend.

Yep, fantastic movie. One of the year's best along with BEFORE MIDNIGHT, STOKER, FRANCES HA, PLACE BEYOND THE PINES, DRUG WAR and FRUITVALE STATION. Been a good year for movies so far if you can just ignore the popcorn movies.

@ira It really sucks how all those movies you listed got completely buried under crap like R.I.P.D.
If only those movies had the advertising campaigns like the aforementioned.
