  1. Alright, lets talk specs - who is reading what? Who is loving what? Who is on the cusp?

Border Country! Loved it. Very moody and hard tone. My kind of script.

  2. If I see a screenplay with another GD title that has "Douchebag" in it I am going to scream... Maybe I should write a script called DOUCHEBAG - 3D - IN SPACE

Deal. Let's right the sequel first, though.

  4. I've a great idea about a spatula. I think it could be the next 3D franchise. It's actually a reboot from the previously entitled "The Coffee Filter". It should only cost 200 million.

See, all the demographics are covered. It's a win-win.

  5. Is there a treatment for Peter Pan Begins? I'd really like to see why this sold.

I forgot about Hook vs. Wonderland. And what about The Neverlanders from maybe 2 or 3 months back? I've lost count.

I liked pan but the draft is old, so maybe one of these newer ones.

Thanks. An influx of Peter Pan projects of late.

And for how much it went for to Sony. Thanks!

  10. Ok -- so right now Trey Parker & Matt Stone + Will Ferrell + Danny McBride are all somewhere licking their chops at the feeding frenzy of fuel that comes in the form of Charlie Sheen's quotes...Winning!

I thought Charlie was just quoting Step Brothers and The Other Guys

  12. The best news of the day has got to be that Detroit will finally be getting a Robocop statue. Philly has Rocky, Detroit has Robocop, if Los Angeles had to pick ONE statue to be an iconic representation, who would it be???

      liveon2legs

Haha, good ones. I don't know if The Matrix was LA. I think it was supposed to be implied that it was to represent every city. I say a John McClane statue!

  13. Refreshing to see a new take on Dracula, by that I'm referring to Harker, which is damn good.

It's your basic setup exposition, as in it was needed for the most part. I don't feel like it hurt it in anyway.

Hmmm...interesting...I'll be keeping an eye on this one.

  15. In reference to the Golden Globes: Was "The Social Network" really a better movie than "Black Swan"? I thought "Black Swan" was great and I thought "The Social Network" was a cool movie, but best picture?

    1. liveon2legs

      liveon2legs

It's always just a simple matter of opinion. There's no real answer to which one is better. Some people I know HATE Black Swan but I loved it. For best picture I'm personally rooting for Toy Story 3.

Awesome! I'll keep an eye out. Any studio with a brain will pick this up. How much is the question...

there was nothing we hadn't seen 100 times before with this movie. To me anyways. It's your typical throw-away, January release horror flick. I'm glad you like it, though.

I was hoping I'd like it but thought it was God awful. Anthony Hopkins needs to retire, but then hasn't he like 3 times already?

  19. Enjoyed the Golden Globes last night and enjoyed Ricky Gervais even more. The actors insulted need to lighten up.

      liveon2legs

Actors are by nature drama queens. My favorite was when he cracked on the head of the HFPA with the helping him off the toilet joke. Ricky Gervais has something lacking in Hollywood when it comes to be surrounded by "powerful" people - and that's balls.

  20. Nice to see moviegoers rewarding quality over substance. It puts a good feeling in me. The success of True Grit is almost a reward. http://boxofficemojo.com/weekend/chart/?yr=2010&wknd=53&p=.htm

Favorite already? Coen brothers for me take a lot of time to settle with me. Still not sure how I feel about No Country. I enjoyed true grit the best, I'll say that much. Also, to see a western make some money...:D

  23. What are some thoughts on the Green Lantern trailer and costume?

    1. liveon2legs

      liveon2legs

Yeah, it looks horrible in my opinion. I'm glad Your Highness stole some of the hype, haha. Green Lantern looks on par with the Fantastic Four movies. Expect a darker re-boot by 2012.
