      Haha, at film school we had a teacher who said loglines must be 27 words, no more, no less. Amazing how many times I write one now, and it ends up being exactly 27 words.

      All things being right in the world, he will unravel eventually. My fear is that if he hangs in there for a few more years, he will manufacture legitimacy just by being around for long enough.

      I live-twitted a review of the free preview. Didn't seem so bad, though there was nothing new there either. For $10 what's the harm? My problem is his $1000 consults.

    Does anyone wonder if Spielberg didn't really direct War Horse, or at least he shot it *really fast?* It just seemed like they settled for the first take on most shots, very stiffly directed in every way, IMHO.

      I think they shot it in 88 days or something, so a lot less than he's used to. Also I think he was going for a 'Golden Age of Hollywood' look and feel.

      F. Scott Frazier recently sold AUTOBAHN, which was originally written as a rough draft in 10 hours. No idea how long he had it in prep, and how long he took to rewrite it though. Still, impressive.
